Admission Process
Getting into JIET is a straightforward process. Here’s how you can secure your seat:
- Eligibility
- The candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the English/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects, securing at least 50% marks (42.75% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories).
- OR
- Passed the Diploma examination with at least 50% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
- Entrance Exam
- Appear for relevant entrance exams, such as JEE Main or state-level engineering entrance tests. JIET considers scores from these exams during the admission process.
- Application
- Counseling and Seat Allotment
- Participate in the counseling process. Based on your entrance exam scores and preferences, you will be allotted a seat in one of our programs.
- Final Admission
- Once you receive your seat allotment, complete the admission formalities, pay the fees, and get ready to begin your journey at JIET.
